Scarlet is our baby. We dreamt up this hotel to be the place we would most like to be and want to share. Somewhere to escape to for a few days and recharge.
So our vision for the hotel was surprisingly easy: really delicious food, Cornish art and quirky stuff to make us smile. A warm welcome that comes from the heart of our team and a spa that restores well being and inner calm, where the ahhhh of a treatment would last for days not hours.
Our challenge was to be luxurious without costing the planet. Can a hotel be really eco-friendly and still fantastic to stay at? We think so; thanks to our huge team of helpers, advisors and friends who care about the earth and have guided us on the way.
We are very proud of the hotel that we have built and the painstaking efforts that we have made to protect and harmonise with our unique environment. We like to think that we’ve put our money where our mouth is and are leading by example, showing that great design can go hand in hand with sustainability.
Working for us
Red Hotels has a unique approach to customer service, hospitality, sustainability and wellbeing. We are family owned and have two very diverse hotels within our group but both share the ambition of providing world class individual service to our guests to ensure they realise the greatest possible enjoyment from their stay with us. Whether in need of fun, relaxation or invigoration, we are there to help them.
But we also take our time to look after our teams. We are looking for people who really want to give our guests wonderful holidays and we want to inspire you to reach your full potential. As a Gold Award Healthy Workplace winner, we encourage our teams to experience nature, enjoy art and design and discover the simple pleasures in life whilst developing some beautiful relationships with their colleagues and our guests.
But why would you want to work for Red Hotels?
"I have worked for many companies both large and small all over the world for the last 20 years and I have never experienced such a fantastic work ethic and environment. I love your philosophy and believe in it 100%. It has been so very lovely and refreshing to be introduced to Red Hotels, I find myself talking continuously to family and friends about how fantastic the training days were and how you actually genuinely care for your clients and staff. It's just so nice and to be honest I didn't know that a company existed that felt so strongly about the well being of their people."
